2017 Morgan County Leadership Hall of FameĀ 

The 2017 Morgan County Leadership Hall of Fame, which also served to raise funds for Morgan County Schools, took place on Thursday, March 9th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Decatur Riverfront.

MR. BILL J. DUKES

Five time Mayor of Decatur. He was a member of the Alabama House of Representatives. He was a Champion for Dixie Youth Baseball and a leader of municipal and industrial growth within the community.

MR. PAUL HENDERSON

Successful business leader. He pioneered sideline sports injury coverage for schools. Co-founder of Encore Rehabilitation Inc. He was an Alabama Distinguished Therapist Service Award Recipient.

MR. GEORGE NANCARROW

Morgan County Schools Superintendent. Established plan for consolidated high schools. Led schools through desegregation era without federal intervention. Community servant, volunteering in retirement.

MRS. FAYE WALKER

Distinguished educator. Acquired funding for Morgan County's vocational schools. Director of Morgan County Schools in three disciplines. Community servant and volunteer.
